Cue the Darth Vader Music

These riot police in Georgia have gas masks that seem to have been taken from the extras rack on a Star Wars film. The more I look at it, the more nightmarish it is.

Oh by the way, Russia may be destabilizing one of its former republics that was moving out of Moscow's orbit ... I guess we're "Back in the USSR"! Since Russia supplies a large amount of the natural gas used by Europe, we can probably expect Europe to make feeble protests at best.
