Uranium Demand to Double by 2030?
I found this on Bloomberg News Service (sorry, no web link) ...
May 30 (Bloomberg) -- Uranium demand will more than double by 2030, with use of the nuclear fuel spreading to Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam, said a group representing companies including BHP Billiton Plc, Cameco Corp. and Duke Energy Corp.
Demand will climb to 160,000 metric tons by 2030, from 65,000 tons this year, Steve Kidd, director of strategy and research of the World Nuclear Association, said at a Mining Journal uranium conference in London today.
