Interesting Read on the Tata Nano

The Oil Drum has an excellent story on the Tata Nano (a car I've written about in Money and Markets) and its potential impact on the world.

Here's an interesting paragraph ...

J.D. Power & Associates expects yearly light vehicle sales in India to double to 3 million vehicles per year by 2015, and sales in China to triple to 17 million per year. Unlike the U.S., where the vast majority of our roughly 17 million in annual car sales do not represent a new person beginning to drive a car, most of the sales in India and China go to first time drivers.

By the way, here's my latest opinion on oil in Money and Markets: Oil Pullback Is a Gift! Naturally, oil inventories came in high and sent oil lower today, lol. We'll see how long that lasts.

I'm leaving for Orlando today to attend the Money Show. If you're also attending, please come by the Weiss Research booth and say "hi."
